MADE: PENCIL CASE

All I know is, we never had cool pencil cases like this when I was in school.
This post is a two for one. I keep finding really cool pencil cases in the back to school sections. The hard case is from Target, the pouch (Bottom of the post) I picked up at Michaels... You can never have too many clutches.
SUPPLIES: PENCIL CASE / E6000 / METAL PLATES / HINGE / BRADS / WIRE CUTTERS / PENCIL POUCH

Left To Right
1. Pry the metal plate off the front, fair warning... its not easy.
2. I bought a pack of metal plates at Michaels, as well as the gold brads. The hinge is from the hardware store. Use E6000 glue to glue the metal plate in the center of the clutch.
3. Bend the brads through the hinge holes. Bend them so they are hidden.
4. Glue the hinge to the plate.
5. Cut off the brad prongs
6. Glue the brads to the corners of the plate. Repeat all sets on the other side when the glue sets.

Just in case you wanted to know what I keep in my clutch....
**Bonus DIY**
I loved this bag as is, I carried it that way for a few days... It's also only $5 at Michaels. But after I finished the box clutch I added some hardware.... I might be adding a hinge to every bag I make. Just use the brads to attach the hinge. Boom, Michael Kors wanna be.

Thanks for the photos Geof
